Crikey! Terri asks psychic to contact Steve

Terri Irwin has turned to psychic medium John Edward in a desperate attempt to connect with her late husband Steve.

The wildlife warrior regularly speaks of the deep bond she shared with her late husband calling him the "love of her life".

According to Woman's Day, Terri asked John for a reading during his 10-day visit Down Under last week.

It's understood John, who has been friends with the Irwins for some time, made sure he flew to Queensland to visit Terri despite his busy schedule.

It's not the first time Terri has called upon the internationally-renowned medium to help her connect with Steve.

In 2008, just two years after he was killed when a stingray barb pierced his chest, Steve's dad, Bob, and Terri held a private session with John in which he revealed he had "no doubt Steve was with us".

"It's not black and white, it's grey, but there's a definite Steve energy that is unmistakeable," John said.

Not long after Terri admitted she can "feel" and "sense" Steve around her.

"I know (Steve's) gone but in some way he's still here. I feel him, I sense him," she said.

The reading comes as Terri celebrated what would have been their 25th wedding anniversary.

To mark the occasion she uploaded a picture to Instagram with the caption: "Today would have been our 25th wedding anniversary. I miss you so very much, and I'm grateful every day for the time we had together".
