Despite previously refusing to discuss whether she identifies as Australian or British, the 48-year-old actress has starred in a new clip for Vanity Fair, teaching fans helpful Aussie and British slang words. Watch the video above.

She may have grown up in Australia, but there's one word that leaves Naomi flustered, with the King Kong star left red-faced and struggling for words when having to define the word "wanker".

"You're a guy... um... you know... well someone you know... it's derived from mastubation and you can act like a wanker if you're behaving like a jerk," Naomi stutters as she tries to give a suitable answer to the Aussie and British insult.

Naomi also shares some other favourite Aussie slang words like "brekkie", "buggered" and "old bird".

Although born in the UK, Naomi grew up in Australia after moving to Sydney with her mother and brother as a teen.

In more recent years the star has spoken out about her heritage, saying "considers" herself British but is strongly "connected" to Australia, calling it "home".
