Ange 'crushed' by the end of secret romance

She's managed to keep her love life underwraps since spiltting from Brad Pitt, but it seems Angelina Jolie is suffering from a secret heartbreak.

After reports swirled earlier this year that the 42-year-old actress had "moved on" from Brad, new claims suggest Ange's secret romance has come to an end.

With the actress based in LA with her and Brad's brood of six, her English "mystery man" remained in England, with the distance taking a toll on their rumoured love affair.

"With the long distance, it just sort of fizzled out... but Ange was devastated all the same," an insider tells NW.

"She'd been looking forward to a fresh start with the kids. She's crushed."

At the start of the year reports suggested the star was ready to pack up her kids and move across the pond to be with her new man, who was said to be United Nations donor annd who she first met while still married to Brad!

"He's very tall, good-looking, an Oxford graduate with wealthy roots in oil and high tech. She's very attracted to his brains," Brangelina expert Ian Halperin told OK! magazine at the time.

However Ange's custody agreement with ex Brad prevented her from making the move with the family, as she was granted primary custody of Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11 and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Poor Ange! Hopefully she's luckier in love next time.
