Aaron Carter arrested for DUI
He used to get the hearts of teenage girls everywhere fluttering, but Aaron Carter has found himself on the wrong side of the law... again.
The 29-year-old, along with girlfriend Madison Parker, were arrested over the weekend in Habersham County, Georgia for "DUI refusal, possession of marijuana and possession of drug related objects", according to TMZ.
The outlet adds Aaron "refused a breathalyzer and testing of his blood and urine" when pulled over by police, while E! News reports Madison was charged with "possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects, as well as with obstruction of law enforcement officers."
Somewhat ironically, Aaron and Madison were filmed by TMZ in the days leading up to their arrest saying they would "never be caught getting a DUI" when asked about fellow troubled star Shia LaBeouf's most recent drunken arrest last week.
You know what they say Aaron, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
The I Want Candy singer was later released on bail, while TMZ adds Madison is yet to post her US$4,360 bail and remains behind bars.
This isn't the first time Aaron has been arrested drug-related charged with the singer booked for "possession of at least two ounces of marijuana" back in 2008 while in Texas.
Aaron also spent a month in rehab at the Betty Ford Centre for "addiction issues" in 2011, with the star later telling E! News that he had been struggling with addiction for most of his life.

"I was introduced to a lot of different things at a very early age. Marijuana, that was mostly the problem," he told the publication at the time.
"There was a picture that leaked from one of my best friends of me smoking weed and it was on the front cover of The National Enquirer and it damn near ruined my career.
"I ended up going to the Betty Ford Center, you know, to go and just like take a break and try to just like, you know, figure out how to get myself healthy and together."
Aaron's big brother, Backstreet Boy member Nick Carter, has since reached out to his sibling, writing on Twitter: "To my brother: I love u no matter what & if u feel the need to reach for help, I am here and willing to help you get better," Nick, 27, wrote on Twitter. "Family isn't always easy, be we're all here for you."
