Bachelor star Matty J has found 'the one'

The Bachelor is returning to our screens in just over one week but fans will be pleased to hear that Matty J has found love on the show!

After Georgia Love broke Matty's heart last year by choosing Lee Elliott over him on The Bachelorette, the whole nation threw their support behind Matty J and will no doubt be looking forward to watching his search for love.

Best of all, he revealed to Woman's Day that he has found "The One"

"I have found love and I know she's The One," Matty told the publication.

Reflecting on what happened last year with NW, the 30-year-old said it has "led [him] to this moment where [he is] really happy".

He also told the magazine: "Look, in 10 years, I would love to have a house in Bondi, a wife, two kids and still be madly in love. That would be the dream."

Aw, so sweet!

Matty took to Instagram this morning to announce the premiere of the show with a cute picture of himself looking incredibly excited about being the next Bachelor.

He wrote: "This photo was taken just moments after I received a phone call, which confirmed I would be the next Bachelor. I have the same feeling knowing my story will begin on Channel 10, Wednesday July 26... just a little excited!"

Channel Ten released the second trailer for his upcoming series a couple of weeks ago, and his chemistry with one woman was undeniable.

During the 60-second clip, the spark between Matty and Sydney jewellery designer Laura Byrne lights up the screen.

"You look absolutely amazing," he tells the stunning brunette, who walks up to him in a slinky brown two-piece outfit.

The 30-year-old heart-throb from Bondi then tells the camera: "Laura has really caught my eye".
