Robbie Williams’ rare sleep-eating disorder
Robbie Williams has revealed he suffers from a very rare eating disorder which causes him to binge eat at night.
The condition is known as Nocturnal Sleep-related Eating Disorder (NS-RED) where you chow down at night but having no idea you’re actually doing it.
In a recent video he posted to his YouTube channel, the singer said he had been suffering from the “very weird” disorder for over a year where he “night eats”.
“I am absolutely asleep and I get up, and I go and eat,” he says.
The 43-year-old wasn’t aware he was doing it “for a long time” and goes on to say he doesn’t “do it on purpose”.
“I’m not aware that I’m doing it but it happens and apparently in my sleep I don’t want kale I want sugar, and loads of it,” he adds.
Robbie says it’s been “super weird” and it has left him on a permanent diet of “superfoods” during the day because of his “bad” eating choices at night.

Worst of all, he is never able to treat himself during the day because he has his “treat in the middle of the night when I don’t even know about it”.
That really sucks, Robbie. We can’t imagine not remembering the joyous moment of chowing down on a good chocolate bar!
