Guess what Wippa sent radio rival Hamish

They're on air rivals, both hosting prime time radio slots at competing stations.

But in real life, NOVA's Michael "Wippa" Wipfli is great mates with Hamish Blake, who has recently become a dad for the second time this week, and has revealed he's super "pumped" for his pal.

Being a two-time dad himself to boys, Ted and Jack, with wife Lisa, 35, Wippa couldn't resist letting Be in on the "perfect" prezzie he bought his pal to celebrate the birth of his new bub, Rudy.

"I absolutely nailed it," he said, excitedly explaining new parents are always inundated with cute clothes and toys. "I decided I was take the stress out of coming home with a new baby, ordering so much food to be sent to their house."

Aww, how thoughtful!

Wippa, who is one half of the hilarious breakfast show Fitzy & Wippa, was talking ahead of his fourth City2Surf run when he explained there's a pressure to "get the first present right" with friend's who've just had a baby.

"Instead of Lego I sent food as they won't have time to cook right now," he continued. "It's my top tip for people having a baby. Remove the stess by buying them food."

Hamish Blake, who is 50 per cent of the comedic duo Hamish and Andy, was already a dad to Sonny, three, with wife Zoe Foster.

The two funny men have been bezzie's since before they both reached radio success, so it's no surprise Wippa knew exactly what delicious meals to spoil them with.

"In the delivery that arrives today there's plenty of meatballs for Hamish and Zoe's favourite fishcakes," he said. YUM!

To be fair, Wippa should be an expert on nutritious meals, as his wife Lisa recently launched a baby food range called Nutritious Bubs.

The health conscious family will be walking City2Surfon August 14 with Ted and Jack, raising money for Bandaged Bear, a charity that supports The Children’s Hospital at Westmead & Bear Cottage.
