Karl Stefanovic slated for ‘sexist’ remarks about Ninja Warrior
Karl Stefanovic has been accused by many on social media of being “sexist” over some remarks the host made on the Today Show.
While interviewing some Australian Ninja Warrior contestants, the 42-year-old brought up the question of there being separate courses for women and men.
He first posed the question to Andrea Hah, the first female contestant on the popular show to beat the Warped Wall.
Karl said it was “worth discussing” different courses for men and women “given the different strength and agility between man and female”.
Andrea replied, brushing off the host’s remarks by simply saying: “I think it’s fantastic that it’s the same course for men and women".
“It should be encouraging for more women to be having a go,” she added.
Many took to social media to slam Karl for his suggestion of a different course.

The Today Show even posted it as a poll to their audience on Facebook asking: “Should the Australian Ninja Warrior course be different for women?”
Overwhelming the result was 88% “No” and only 12% “Yes” and people were also quick to respond to the question in the comments section.

One person even joked about the question saying why shouldn’t there be another “course all together for the shorter people”.
The new show has become extremely popular after it premiered a couple of weeks ago.
