Kim K faces lawsuit over new cosmetic line

Kim Kardashian’s new makeup line KKW Cosmetics sold out in two-and-half hours and has been extremely popular with her fans.

One person the line has not loved the new line so much is Danish makeup artist Kirsten Kjaer Weis, who is reportedly suing Kim K over the cosmetic line.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, Kirsten is taking the reality star to court for jacking her initials and profiting of her already established brand.

The publication has reported that Kirsten claims she is a well-known makeup artist and her own line, KW cosmetics is a big global seller.

The makeup artist has apparently claimed Kim K’s new line is confusing her customers and the breach is “knowing, willing and deliberate”.

The court papers demand that the 36-year-old star be blocked from using the “KKW” initials, to hand over all profits to Kirsten and finally for her to pay damages.

However, the outlet has spoken to sources linked with Kim’s line and she reportedly went through vigorous checks to ensure there was no infringement.

Kim K’s team is reportedly “confident” that her line does not violate Kristen’s KW beauty line at all.

Not sure about you but we don’t really see anything similar between the two lines except the initials…
