Karl Stefanovic reveals girlfriend compares him to Brad Pitt

He appears on our TV screens every morning in his gig as a Today Show host.

And though we're proud of Karl Stefanovic as one of our very own home grown spunks, can he really be compared to Hollywood hunk, Brad Pitt?

Well, according to his brutally honest girlfriend Jasmin Yarbrough, the answer is no!

"Well as Jasmine pointed out to me, when we were driving along in the car and there was paparazzi everywhere, ‘You’re not effing Brad Pitt, what’s the go?’" he told KIIS FM's Kyle & Jackie O.

The honest admission was met with a barrell of laughs from the outspoken radio presenters, before Kyle Sandilands kindly offered some moral support.

"It’s lovely to hear that your missus is very truthful like mine," he told the 44-year-old journalist. "Mine has said exactly the same thing."

Karl, who started dating the blonde 33-year-old earlier this year after the breakdown of his 21-year marriage, also talked about their time on James Packer's super boat.

Confessing he didn't realise they would be papped after enjoying the lavish meals served on board, he went into hilarious detail about photos of his overindulged dad bod being splashed everywhere.

"You wake up in the morning and... you go outside in your little swimming trunks and you just get busted with your gut hanging out everywhere," he said. "They’re everywhere always, and I am the most boring guy in the world."

Oh dear Karl. But at least the lovely Jas is keeping you so well grounded.
