Justin Bieber 'hits paparazzi leaving church in huge truck'

Justin Bieber was involved in a car collision on Wednesday night, when he struck a pedestrian in Beverly Hills after leaving a church service held at the Saban Theater.

The 23-year-old Canadian musician had just finished attending a Hillsong Church service, before the incident occured at 9:25pm local time, where a man, reportedly a 57-year-old photographer, was hit by the singer's truck.

Video footage was captured of Justin getting into his black Dodge Ram truck, before pulling out into the street and hitting the photographer who was trying to take some snaps.

Justin remained on site till paramedics arrived, assisting with police enquiries, while the photographer was then taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

"The driver of the vehicle stayed and spoke to the officers and they conducted the investigation," the Beverly Hills Police Department told Entertainment Tonight. "The driver has since left."

Meanwhile according to The Sun, "Beverly Hills police have confirmed no arrests were made and they do not believe any criminal activity was involved".

The incident comes just days after the singer cancelled the rest of his Purpose tour.

In a statement issued to E!the singer announced the last 14 dates would be axed "due unforeseen circumstances" but assured fans with tickets to the affected dates would recieve a full refund.

"Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them," the official statement read. "He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months."

Understandably, the news shattered the hearts of Bieber fans who had been excitedly looking forward to seeing their future bae/idol on stage.

Later the singer issued somewhat of an apology, captured in a video obtained by TMZ.

"Everything's fine," he firstly told a photographer during a beachside stroll, before adding "I’ve been on tour for two years".

Explaining he's going to spend his time off "just resting, getting some relaxation", he then said: "I love you guys. I think you guys are awesome. Sorry for anybody who feels disappointed or betrayed, it’s not my heart or anything. Have a blessed day".
