Katie 'reaches out' to ex Josh for support

Katie Holmes has reportedly been distraught after pictures of her alleged flame Jamie Foxx surfaced of the actor out and about with a mystery brunette.

And according to OK magazine the actress has been finding comfort in her former partner and Dawson's Creek co-star Joshua Jackson.

An insider revealed, “Katie can’t turn to any of her and Jamie’s mutual friends so she’s been calling Josh. He’s been a godsend."

They added: “She waits until Suri goes to sleep and then stays up way too long unloading on Josh.”

According to the insider it's not just the phone calls the 38-year-old craves, but she’s also missing the simpler days before she was married to Tom Cruise, when she had “normal, down-to-earth actor friends,” the source told OK.

Rumours have been swirling that Katie was feeling betrayed by 49-year-old Jamie’s lack of commitment for the past few months.

In an earlier report published by OK, a friend of the highly secretive couple said “when Jamie is out, Katie becomes an afterthought...he acts like a single frat boy."

It seems Katie is feeling nostalgic by calling her ex-boyfriend. Back in 1998, Katie revealed in a Rolling Stone interview that Joshua was her first love.

"I'm just going to say that I met somebody last year, I fell in love, I had my first love, and it was something so incredible and indescribable," she told the outlet.
