Shanina Shaik talks fake pregnancy
Shanina Shaik recently swapped the catwalk for the big screen, filming a role for the most recent Mummy flick.
And now the 26-year-old Australian model has opened up about the challenges she faced while shooting, especially considering her character was pregnant.
Appearing on Channel Seven's The Morning Show on Tuesday, Shanina said it "was really hard" considering this was her film debut.
"You had a Mummy moment all of your own though in this, didn’t you?" presenter Kylie Gillies asked Shanina.
She responded: "I was pregnant in the film. That was really hard, for my first movie role and to be pregnant".
When Kylie asked the model if her back hurt when sporting a prosthetic belly, Shanina confessed bending down was a bit of a struggle as she "had to wear that all day on set".
The upside of starring in the flick was meeting the likes of Tom Cruise, who Shanina says was "really, really nice" and "really easygoing".
Shanina has hit the runway for an array of prestigious fashion labels in the past, including lingerie line Victoria's Secret.
