This Hollywood couple are actually COUSINS

It'd be most people's worst nightmare to be in love with their relative, but that doesn't seem to faze one of Hollywood's biggest couples.

Kevin Bacon and wife Kyra Sedgwick are actually distant cousins, and in her latest interview, Kyra admits the few degrees of separation don't actually both her.

Over the weekend the 51-year-old actress and producer was asked about an episode of Finding Your Roots, in which she and 59-year-old Kevin were revealed to be related.

"I figured I was going to be related to Kevin Bacon — I mean, most white people are related, ultimately," she said during the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour, reports The Wrap.

"I wasn’t surprised, honestly," she added.

"Frankly, I figured that was part the reason that they wanted to do both of us. I had to act surprised."

Kevin and Kyra tied the knot back in 1988 and share two adult children, Sosie and Travis.

Back in 2013 the pair appeared on the PBS show Finding Your Roots, where presenter Henry Louis Gates Jr showed Kyra a photo of her ninth cousin once removed, informing her, "And his name is Kevin Bacon".

"See. I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!," Kyra responded at the time.
