Sam starts filming Home and Away

Sam Frost looks right at home in the bay after commencing her shooting schedule for Home and Away.

The 28-year-old was spotted on the set of the Channel Seven soap last week for some outdoor night scenes.

The former Bachelorette star didn't have her beach-ready bikini on, instead sporting a light jacket and a pair of faded jeans.

Last month Channel Seven confirmed that she would be joining the cast of the Logie award-winning drama.

"Home and Away is a show I grew up watching with my family,” she said in a statement released by the network.

"To become part of this iconic television show is a real honour, I can't wait to start shooting," he added.

Julie McGauran, Seven’s Head of Drama also said: "Sam exudes a genuine warmth and kindness. Her natural ease in front of the camera makes her a wonderful addition to the Home and Away family".

Since the casting announcement, the actress has been slammed by some for not having enough experience.

Co-star Ada Nicodemou has hit back at the critics, telling The Daily Telegraph: "I believe you can either act or you can't. Most of us who started on Home And Away didn't go to acting school before. Including me".

"Home And Away is a great place to develop your craft. Plus, it's a rigorous audition process to get through and she wouldn't have made it if she couldn't act."

Sam's time on the Home and Away set comes as she currently graces screens as a contestant on Hell's Kitchen.
