Ange 'stalls divorce' from Brad

After announcing their shock split almost exactly 12 months ago, could Angelina Jolie be "stalling" her divorce from Brad Pitt?

Despite the public slinging match and bitter custody battle that ensued following the 42-year-old actress' decision to end their marriage, fresh claims suggest Hollywood's former golden couple haven't moved on with proceedings in "several months" as Brad tries to "win" his ex back.

"The divorce is off. They haven't done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to," an insider tells Us Weekly.

Having come clean about how his bad habits contributed to the end of his marriage earlier this year in a revealing GQ profile, the source adds Brad's attempts to get sober have Ange second-guessing the split!

The outlet continues, saying Ange would even consider taking the 53-year-old actor back "if he showed he was committed to raising a family", with the source adding Brad "got sober to try and win Ange back" knowing that "all she ever wanted" was for him to give up the booze.

"Everyone thinks they are going to get back together. It wouldn't be surprising if they announced that they're calling it off and trying to work things out," the insider adds.

The couple are parents to Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11 and nine-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

In May this year Brad broke his silence about life as a single man, opening up about his divorce from Ange and the ‘boozing’ problem that contributed to it.

“I can't remember a day since I got out of college when I wasn't boozing or had a spliff, or something,” he revealed in the interview. “I could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka. I was a professional. I was good.”

“I'm really happy to be done with all of that. I mean I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family. But even this last year, you know…things I wasn't dealing with. I was boozing too much. It's just become a problem.”

The star went on saying at the time it had been “half a year” since he kicked the habit, and he now drinks “cranberry juice and fizzy water”.
