Predator's Sonny Landham dies

Actor Sonny Landham who starred in 1987 film Predator has passed away at the age of 76.

The actor and stuntman died from congestive heart failure on Thursday, reports AP, and is survived by his son, William, and daughter, Priscilla.

Landham starred in the Arnold Schwarzenegger film Predator 30 years ago, playing Native American tracker Billy Sole.

He also had a role in Walter Hill's 1979 street-gang thriller The Warriors, as well asb 48 Hrs in 1982, playing criminal Billy Bear.

Following his stint in Hollywood, Landham attempted to forge a career in politics.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken to social media to pay tribute to his late co-star.

He wrote on Twitter: "Sonny Landham was such a joy to work with on Predator - so talented, so fun to be around. We'll miss him. My thoughts are with his family".
