Home and Away’s Pia Miller talks juggling family and fame

She is best known for her role as Katrina Chapman on hit Aussie drama Home and Away.

And today Pia Miller has opened up how she balances fame, work and family life on The Morning Show.

“You can get coerced into saying yes to things quite easily I think,” she told hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies.

The 33-year-old discussed the position she was in being able to “jump” at opportunities to appear on the front of magazine covers.

However, she draws the line at having her two sons in photos with her.

“There are some things I have said no to like having my boys on front covers of magazines… It depends on what feels right and if it’s in line with what I believe in and the message I am trying to tell I suppose,” she explained.

Kylie then asked if the actress would ever consider doing the “LA thing” like a lot of other Home and Away stars.

But it looks like Pia is sticking to her Aussie roots saying: “For me, personally, I am happy where I am.”

“I’m just stoked to be here, be in Australia, the country that I love and where I was raised and raise my boys here,” she added.

The actress has two sons, Isaiah from a previous relationship and Lennox with her estranged husband Brad Miller.

Brad and Pia tied the knot in 2007 but announced their separation in 2015.

She is currently in a relationship with producer Tyson Mullane.
