This TV star is a virgin… and she’s PROUD of it

The character she plays on the hit HBO series Insecure is very sexually active but it turns out Yvonne Orji is the complete opposite.

The 33-year-old revealed to PEOPLE that she is actually a virgin and saving herself for marriage.

“I wasn’t going to hide it just because I’m on TV,” she told the magazine.

The star said she is “grounded in who I am” and her decision to stay celibate until she finds that person she wants to spend the rest of her life with.

She has also fully encourages others to embrace their beliefs through her clothing line, “Rock Your Stance” which sells tees that say “Keeping it locked till I get that rock”.

Even though the actress always wanted to go into showbiz, her parents had other plans for her.

They actually expected her to pursue a medical profession but she told them “give me eight years to make it in entertainment”.

But she actually managed to do it in just seven years!
