WATCH: Taylor's Swift's creepy new ad

ICYMI: Taylor Swift has an ~edgy~ new single and she's releasing an album. And now you're up to speed, it's Tay Tay's latest partnership that has people scratching their heads more than singing along.

Before the preimere of the lyrics video for her latest tune Look What You Made Me Do, the 27-year-old starred in a 30 second clip for American delivery serivice UPS in what seems to be the strangest team up ever. Check it out above.

While vengeance seems to be on Tay's mind with her new song, it's the creepy new ad, which shows the singer carefully wrapping copies of her upcoming album Reputation and looking like this:

Yep, that's right, your girl Tay is hoping to push her new album by flashing a creepy, and slightly unhinged, looking smile.

The UPS partnership also gives fans in the US a chance to win a "Flyaway package to an upcoming Taylor Swift show", with the company rolling out branded Taylor UPS trucks across Nashville, New York and Atlanta, adding they are keen for fans to get a snap of the trucks "from a safe distance," and head to social media to use the hashtag #TaylorSwiftDelivery if they want to get an "improved opportunity to buy Taylor Swift concert tickets."

Cool, because if there's social media content that we all want to see it's UPS trucks on Instagram.

We guess this is what the new Taylor is about now, seeing as the old Taylor is dead and can't come to the phone.

Reputation will be her first album since 2014's 1989, but the first reviews about the lead single have not been kind, withVulture declaring it "dead on arrival". Ouch.

Sorry Tay, hope you can Shake It Off.

The full video for Look What You Made Me Do will premiere today at the VMAs.
