How Kyle wooed Imogen

They've been dating since 2012, and now Kyle Sandilands has revealed exactly how he wooed Imogen Anthony five years ago.

Speaking on his KIIS FM radio show on Wednesday morning, the 46-year-old shock jock says it was his cooking skills that got his lady a little hot under the collar.

"How I wooed her was before I discovered the deliciousness of Kantong, I cooked her a steak," he told co-host Jackie O and guest Sarah Harris, Kantong being the brand of a popular Asian cooking sauce.

"And it was the blackest, burntest and nothing else... just one burnt steak and she suffered through it, ate it, said nothing," he explained.

The radio star said Imogen, 26, still recalls the mouth-watering moment all these years later.

He said: "And then years later that’s what she said, ‘Remember when you gave me that leathery old burnt bit of charcoal that first night?'".

At this stage Sarah chimed in, "She's talking about the steak, right?" to which Kyle chuckled.

Earlier this month Kyle opened up about the pair's relationship, admitting if there's one person he's scared of, it's his girlfriend!

The KIIS radio show host was chatting to The Morning Show when he revealed that when it comes to calling the shots at home, his stunning partner Imogen is a force to be reckoned with.

"I do exactly what she says," he said.

"We like doing the same sort of things but she doesn’t like changing plans. So we make a plan to do something on Saturday and I decide I don’t want to do that - that’s not allowed. The plan is never allowed to change."

He said he's tried to "butt heads" with his girlfriend but discovered that was a "big mistake".

Kyle's co-host Jackie O also piped in confirming that the shock jock as indeed "terrified of her".

The pair started dating back in 2012, two years after Kyle split with his wife Tamara Jaber.
