Who was Studio 10's worst guest?

As they celebrate their 1000th episode, Studio 10's executive producer has split the tea on some of the biggest divas on the talk show.

While Rob McKnight reframed from naming names, the producer said there were three guests in particular that were hard to deal with on the popular morning show hosted by Ita Buttrose, Sarah Harris, Joe Hildebrand, Jessica Rowe and Denise Drysdale.

The first guest Rob described as a "camp English comedian", telling news.com.au that while most guests generally enjoy themselves while appearing on the show, he can "honestly say that he did not".

"He was one of the worst guests we’ve ever had on the show. He didn’t get the format of the show at all. Five minutes into our Hot Topics segment he turned to the camera and said, 'I think we’ll take a commercial break now.' The other hosts were like, ‘ah, no, we’ve still got a few more Hot Topics,'" Rob told the outlet.

The second guest wasn't much better, with Rob admitting that this Australian comedian's guest stint was so bad he considered asking him to leave!

"He’s well known for his records and his limericks. He was desperately trying to be funny and the studio audience were not reacting to him in the slightest and he ended up yelling at the audience, 'What’s wrong with you? This is funny!'" Yikes.

"It was the one and only time that I’ve honestly thought, do we pull this guest off the show halfway through?

"Ultimately we saw it through and the other hosts were trying to do the right thing by him and I went and spoke to him... but there are times with some guests where it just doesn’t work. And that’s live TV, you don’t get a second go."

However it's the third unnamed guest that was the biggest diva with Rob revealing their demands saw them not even appear on the show!

"We’re talking about a pint-sized Australian singer and this guest basically cancelled on us at the very last minute and went to a competitors show. This was in the early days of Studio 10 and we were shocked because we had the booking and couldn’t believe that they’d actually dare to do that," he recalled.

Going on to explain the situation, Rob added that during a heated conversation with the star's manager he warned that the guest would never be welcomed back to the show.

"Their management laughed in our face and they went on the competitors show and I can honestly say 1000 episodes in that we have never had that person on our show and we never will, despite their management approaching us many, many times to have them on. We’re a show of our word."
