Kim 'big loss' for Caitlyn

Caitlyn Jenner has revealed she's not on speaking terms with her former family, admitting she hasn't spoken to Kim Kardashian "in six-nine months".

Describing the rift as a "big loss", the 67-year-old said the fall-out with the Kardashian clan is over her tell-all autobiography The Secrets of My Life, with Caitlyn also revealing she hasn't spoken to ex-wife Kris Jenner since its release. Watch Caitlyn chat about her relationships above.

"I love Kim, she's a great person. I have such respect for her as a mother, as a business person, but like Kris, she is very opinionated, but that's okay I love that about her," Caitlyn told Good Morning Britain.

"It's unfortunate because Kim was the first one I talked to about this issue," she added, recalling how she sat down with Kim to speak about being transgender with her.

"She's been very very good on it, and it's big loss in my life not having her there anymore. And to me, that's sad I love all my children."

Back in June Kim revealed she was "taking a break" from Caitlyn, adding she "definitely got up-set" over her step-dad's autobiography.

"To say I was shocked by putting some things out there that we just not true and were hurtful... at the end of the day my mom and Caitlyn had a 25 year relationship," Kim told The View at the time.

Kris Jenner married Caitlyn, who was then known as Bruce Jenner, in 1991.

The reality star went on to confirm that it had been some time since between conversations with Caitlyn.

"Have I talked to her in the past couple of months? No," she added.

However Kim didn't rule out a possible reconcilation with her step-father adding: "In our family we definitely are always so close and stick through everything so everything is definitely going to be fine."

"She will always be my step-dad and be a person who raised me and stepped up to the plate and raised me after my father died. I will never forget what Caitlyn instilled in me. She will always be a part of me."
