Stars imitate Beyoncé for birthday tributes
It's the most sacred day of the year and now friends and family have gotten into Formation to pay tribute to Beyoncé, including former First Lady Michelle Obama!
As Queen Bey, born Beyoncé Giselle Knowles, celebrates her 36th birthday, some of her nearest and dearest have given her a rather fitting tribute, because imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Recreating the iconic look from her Formation music video, Bey's mum Tina Knowles and daughter Blue Ivy, mother-in-law Gloria Carter, Michelle Obama tennis star and new mumma Serena Williams and former Destiny's Child band mates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland posed for a series of photos that were shared on Beyoncé's website.
Wearing an off-the-shoulder black top and large silver necklace, the original Bey Hive gang pose with an over-sized brimmed black hat that cover their eyes.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEYONCÉ FROM YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS," a message accompanying the photos said, along with a message encouraging fans to support relief efforts in Beyoncé's hometown of Houston, Texas, after Hurricane Harvey devastated the city last week.
While most of Beyoncé's special ladies were pictured, her sister Solange was missing from the special tribute, as were the Single Ladies singer's newborn twins Rumi and Sir.

The photos come after Bey's hubby Jay Z pulled out all the stops for his fabulous wife and got thousands of people at a festival to sing to his superstar spouse.
The rapper performed at the Budweiser Made In America Festival in Philadelphia over the weekend and got the entire crowd to serenade Beyoncé a “Happy Birthday”.
“Shout out to Beyoncé. Beautiful Bey is in the house tonight. Happy Birthday my love,” Jay told his wife who was watching him perform.
