Kim poses completely nude

Kim Kardashian knows how to break the internet, and it involves a lot of flashing the flesh.

The 36-year-old reality star has done just that, stripping down to absolutely nothing for a risque photo shoot by acclaimed fashion photographers Mert and Marcus.

Posing completely naked in a black and white filtered snap to be featured in the duo's latest book, Kim can be seen baring her breasts, and every inch of skin on her body.

The only things covering her are a pair of black laced up shoes, and strategically placed stars across her nipples in the sensored version shared on Kim's Instagram account.

"So honored to have been photographed by Mert and Marcus for their book new book! 20 years in the making! It's out Sept 7th," the wife of Kanye West has captioned the social media post.

Needless to say, Kim's racy display has sent social media into a frenzy, with the post attracting more than 700,000 likes in a matter of a few hours since being uploaded.

She wrote: "I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin. I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me. And I hope that through this platform I have been given, I can encourage the same empowerment for girls and women all over the world".

Kim also added: "It's 2016. The body-shaming and slut-shaming—it's like, enough is enough. I will not live my life dictated by the issues you have with my sexuality".
