The 'one thing' that surprised Amal about George

She was the one woman who was able to make an honest man out of Hollywood’s forever bachelor.

But there was one thing about George Clooney that took his wife Amal by surprise.

“What a great father he is,” the 39-year-old said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

The couple both became first-time parents back in June after Amal gave birth to twins, Ella and Alexander.

Amal’s comment apparently took George by surprise as he said: “She said that? Really?”

George recently revealed his twins have very “distinct personalities”.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight to promote his new flick he directed Suburbicon, George said that Alexander is “a thug already”.

“You saw him,” he said turning to long time friend Matt Damon. “He’s a moose! Literally he just sits and he eats.”

His daughter, on the other hand, is apparently very like her mother.

“She’s very elegant, all eyes. She looks like Amal,” the 56-year-old revealed to the outlet.

George and Amal tied the knot in September 2014 in Venice, Italy.
