Alec Baldwin has opened up about he keeps his romance with wife Hilaria alive.
Speaking on The Ellen Show, the 59-year-old actor, who has been married to Hilaria, 26 years his junior, for five years, explained he needs to keep the surprises coming so his stunning wife doesn't even contemplate leaving him.
"We did a vow renewal. We got remarried," he told Ellen DeGeneres.
When Ellen asked why he decided to do this, Alec cheekily responded, "Well, you know, when you're 26 years older than your wife you've got to keep them faked out a lot, you know what I mean".
He continued: There's a vow renewal, let's get an apartment, kind of keep her off balance so she doesn't really think about what's going on".
"Otherwise she would leave?" Ellen giggles?
"Otherwise she'd be like you know," Alec then said, looking at his wristwatch and tapping it.
But jokes aside, the comedian is very happy with his 33-year-old wife.
"No you seem to be very in love," Ellen said, to which Alec responded, "I'm totally in love. I'm madly in love".
Alec got engaged to yoga instructor Hilaria in April 2012, before the couple tied the knot in June that year.
They share three children, daughter Carmen, four, son Rafael, two, and Leonardo, one.
Alec also shares a 21-year-old daughter named Ireland with ex-wife Kim Bassinger.
