Elise’s emotional Bachelor ‘struggle’

The whole of Australia saw Elise Stacy get her heart broken by Matty J last night on The Bachelor after he declared his love for Laura Byrne.

While chatting with Hit105’s Stav, Abby & Matt with Osher on Friday, Elise admitted to “struggling” to save face before the finale aired.

Discussing a radio interview she had with Laura the day before the finale, the marketing executive admitted she needed to take a “moment” to herself after her heart broken.

“I got straight up and had a little moment after that,” Elise said.

The 29-year-old added: “I mean she was so happy and up and about and I was battling and struggling through that whole thing. I’m just glad it’s over now.”

Elise was left noticeably shattered after Matty dumped her during finale last night.

The former Hockeyroos star fought back tears as Matty delivered the heartbreaking news that he had chosen Laura over her.
