From Matty J FINALLY picking a winner on The Bachelor to Jim Carrey's bizarre red carpet moment... it’s been yet another big week in entertainment.

1. Australia went a little Bachelor mad this week and one of your favourite stories was this clanger when Tara dropped a MAJOR spoiler

She's was one the final three girls vying to win Matty J’s heart alongside Elise Stacy and Laura Byrne on The Bachelor, but Tara Pavlovic dropped a whopper of a spoiler in the lead up to the finale!

While chatting on HIT 93.5 Dubbo’s Pippa & Jimi Show Tara discussing rumours that she had given a waiter named Derek her number when she dropped this clanger: "I ran into him [the waiter] the weekend I got eliminated in Newtown."

That's right! Tara revealed she wasn't the winner of Matty's heart! While she tried to backtrack it didn't work and we all worked out she was out!

2. Australia's collective hearts broke for her when our much-loved Tara was eventually (and predictably) eliminated.

The whole of Australia’s hearts broke last night as we saw Matty J send the amazing Tara Pavlovic home opting to give roses to his top two girls Elise Stacy and Laura Byrne on The Bachelor.

Despite the heartbreak at the time, Tara told Be that she's happy the show is now over.

“We finished filming in May. It’s been a long time – I’ve been living a lie!” she said to Be. “I feel so free, I just feel like I can be honest and be like, ‘Yeah I didn’t win! Woohoo!’”

3. How could we NOT see who Matty eventually ended up choosing.

Since the moment she stepped out of that limo, Matty J has been captivated by Laura Byrne so it should come as no surprise to learn that on The Bachelor finale he chose her as his 'One'. Awww.

During the climatic season finale of The Bachelor, Matty revealed to the stunning brunette that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

"I think about you every single day," he told her. "The only way I can describe how I feel towards you is - Laura, I love you."

4. Now with The Bachelor over for another year, we can turn out attention to our next big binge fest, The Bachelorette.

She’s known for being an open book but Sophie Monk got pretty cagey after she was questioned about her sexual activity with her chosen man on The Bachelorette.

During an interview on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show, host Kyle Sandilands didn't hold back in asking her about “penetration” with her mystery man.

The Bachelorette admitted to having two secret lockdown meetings with her man which prompted Kyle to get down to the hard-hitting questions: “Has there been – dare I ask – penetration?”

The 37-year-old remained pretty coy about the whole thing but Kyle being Kyle didn’t let that slide, and continued to push Sophie for answer.

“I think I’d be a bit of a weirdo if I didn’t at this point, don’t you reckon?” Sophie finally admitted.

5. And who could forget the moment that left everyone scratching their heads

Jim Carrey has left fans scratching their heads after giving a bizarre interview on the red carpet for New York Fashion Week.

The comedian, who was dressed in an outlandish suit, began acting up when E! News’s Cat Sadler approached him for an interview.

At first Catt appeared thrilled to see Jim at the fashion event but things got very weird very quickly when the actor began circling the interviewer. After circling her twice – much like a lion circling its prey – the actor then told her: “There’s no meaning to any of this. I wanted to find the most meaningless thing I could come to and join and here I am.”
