Inside Ange's 'house of horrors'

With estranged husband Brad Pitt staying in the family's home after the 42-year-old actress filed for divorce last year, Ange settled with the couple's six kids in a new home in Loz Feliz, however insiders tell OK! magazine it's more like a "house of horrors" as she tries to control the kids.

Despite dropping a reported $31 mil on the mansion, the source adds the kids are allowed to "decorate their rooms" with the result "a cross between a trashed frat house and a rave club". Yikes.

"It's a house of horrors," the sources tells the publication, adding that Ange seems "overwhelmed" trying to control Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and nine-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Although the actress and the kids only moved a short distance away from the 53-year-old, the source adds Brad claims Ange won't take responsibility for their children's "unusual" lifestyle, which includes being able to colour and scribble on the walls while "ruling the roost".

"The kids have been openly defiant and unmanageable when it comes to tutors and nannies," they add. "The nannies have no control when it comes to the kids. They pretty much run them."

And it seems Hollywood's former golden couple have always been at odds over how to raise their kids, with sources saying earlier this year Brad has always maintained he'd like to see the kids have a more normal life.

"Brad wants them to have a normal upbringing and worries that they'll come out spoiled, elitist and not grounded," an insider told OK! magazine back in June.

"But Angie feels they should be 'children of the world'. They argue about it all the time: heated, screaming fights."
