Actress suffers wardrobe malfunction on live TV
Suffering a wardrobe malfunction is bad enough, but when it's aired on live TV, the slip-up can be that more embarrassing.
Unfortunately that's exactly what happened to British actress Chizzy Akudolu over the weekend when she appeared on celebrity dance contest Strictly Come Dancing.
As she took to the floor for the first time, the 43-year-old Holby City star was only a few steps in before her blue dress got caught in her high-heeled shoe.
What's more, the fabric of her frock just clung to the heel and would not come off no matter how much she tried to shake it off.
Being the professional she is, Chizzy kept a wide smile on her face and continued her cha cha routine with her professional dance partner Pasha Kovelev.
Luckily the dress parted ways with her heel after a few moves, and fans applauded the star for handling the mishap with such grace.
"Well done to Chizzy in not missing a beat despite the dress being caught on heel. #SCD #Strictly (sic)," one viewer wrote on Twitter.
Another penned: "Chizzy styled that dress heel incident out like a PRO <3 #Strictly #scd (sic)".
