Miley Cyrus channels Dolly Parton
She's the offspring of country music royalty and now Miley Cyrus has channelled her godmother Dolly Parton.
The resemblance is uncanny as the 24-year-old appears on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, with Miley and the talk show host dress as Dolly and Kenny Rogers and replicate the duo's iconic 1983 Grammy performance of Islands in the Stream. Watch Miley and Jimmy sing their tune in the clip above.
While Miley rocked a blonde curly wig and a black dress, it was Jimmy's resemblance to Kenny that make viewers do a double-take, with the 43-year-old the spitting image of the country music star in a tux and salt-and-pepper wig which included a matching beard and mustache.
Miley and Dolly have a history of performing together on more than one occasion with the 71-year-old making a cameo on Hannah Montana in 2006, and Miley covering Dolly's hit Jolene in 2012.
The Party In The USA singer even poked fun at her superstar godmother, jokingly adjusting her bra, which included some extra padding, at the end the performance.

Miley has enjoyed a week-long stint on the Tonight Show, dedicating a duet with Adam Sandler to the victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting earlier in the week.
The duo performed a cover of Dido's 2013 single No Freedom, before Miley also performed her hit The Climb, a song she hasn't sung publicly in several years.
