The truth behind Jesinta's Cadbury gig
When Jesinta Franklin first partnered with chocolate brand Cadbury, the model sparked a controversial debate as some questioned why the healthy lifestyle advocate was promoting chocolate.
And despite rumours she was eventually "dumped" by the brand, the 26-year-old has now set the record.
Speaking to news.com.au, AFL star Lance "Buddy" Franklin's wife says she was "never the face" of the brand, and that had only signed for a 12-week contract.
"I filmed an ad for them and it was a three month ad," she tells the publication.
"I did a really great job for Cadbury. Sales went through the roof, and within 48 hours and they had a huge increase in sales so my job was done."
It was back in April when Jesinta announced her affiliation with the brand.
At the time the decision raised a number of eyebrows due to Jesinta’s open support of living a sugar-free, clean-eating diet.
Jesinta defended her decision to team up with the brand telling TODAY that while she eats “really clean: during the week, she’s lets herself eat “a bit of Dairy Milk” on a Friday night.
