Lindsay Lohan defends Harvey Weinstein
As accusations continue to mount against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, one woman has come out in his defence.
Actress Lindsay Lohan posted two seperate video clips to her Instagram account, publicly supporting the film producer.
"Hi, this is Lindsay Lohan," she said. "I'm in Dubai, I'm home, and I feel very bad for Harvey Weinstein right now, I don't think it's right what's going on."
The 31-year-old Mean Girls actress was referring to the huge Hollywood scandal surrounding Weinstein, which started last Friday when The New York Times published a series of sexual harassment claims against the movie-maker.
Her rant didn't finish there, as she then posted a second clip that featured an emoji with an angelic halo above it and the words, "Harvey".
This clip continued along a similar vein, but this time she took a swipe at his wife Georgina Chapman, 41, who just announced she was leaving her 65-year-old hubby after 10 years of marriage.
"I think Georgina needs to take a stand and be there for her husband," she said, looking into the camera. "He's never harmed me or did anything wrong to me. We've done several movies together, and so I think everyone needs to stop. I think it's wrong. So stand up."
Lindsay has worked with The Weinstein Films on two movies, Scary Movie 5 and Bobby.
In the last few days, huge Hollywood actresses have come out in hordes to say they've been affected by the movie producer's alleged inappropriate advances, touches and acts.
