Bachelorette's Luke on Sophie and Stu's 'connection'

In a shock turn of events last night, Luke McLeod was sent packing by Sophie Monk on The Bachelorette.

The 33-year-old has now weighed in the rumoured winner Stu Laundy’s “connection” with Sophie.

Luke admitted on Nova FM's Fitzy & Wippa on Thursday morning that he could see that intruder Stu had a connection with Sophie right from the very moment he stepped off that helicopter.

“If you go off what she said she’s looking for he (Stu) ticks a lot of those boxes,” he said.

However, it seems there's no hard feelings between Luke and Sophie’s rumoured new beau as the business culture consultant referred to Stu as a “legend” and a “really good bloke”.

Stu recently opened up to TV Week about how he’s “put everything on the line” by going on the show.

"I've been married, I've had kids. And just like the other guys, I've put everything on the line," the 44-year-old publican told the publication.

"This may be the biggest gamble of my life, but I'm here to chase happiness."

He also told the magazine that Sophie is “one of the most beautiful girls I’ve ever seen in my life.”

It seems all signs are point to a Sophie and Stu love-match on The Bachelorette.
