Howard Stern 'knew' Harvey Weinstein was lying
Radio personality Howard Stern has waded in on the Harvey Weinstein scandal, confessing he always 'knew' the mogul was lying when he previously denied bedding famous Hollywood actresses on his show.
The Sirius XM presenter recalled an old interview with the now disgraced producer where he probed him about his position of power in the industry.
Though Weinstein denied any suggestion men in the industry could use their position for sexual benefit, Howard says he 'knew he was lying.'
“Every girl knows that if she’s a competent actress, if she could get on your good side, you could make her a star over-f–king-night," he says in the 2014 interview that has been shared by TMZ. "Don’t tell me it doesn’t work like that."
Despite Weinstein insisting it 'doesn't work like that', the famous radio jockey continued to push.
"You can’t walk into the room, pull your pants off and say, ‘Okay, honey let’s talk business?’” he said.
The recently ousted Weinstein explained he'd heard 'stories' from back in the day but that he'd been 'born way too late' to benefit.
Weinstein has been accused of a string of sexual abuse claims spanning over 30 years in the movie industry.
Some of Hollywood's biggest actresses have come forward to identify 65-year-old Harvey as a serial sexual predator, including Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Beckinsale.
His wife of 10 years Georgina Chapman has left him in the wake of the scandal that has cast a shadow over LA.
Harvey Weinstein continues to deny the claims, which are now being investigated by the FBI and various police forces around the world.
