Gerard Butler hospitalised after motorbike crash
Hollywood heart-throb Gerard Butler has been hospitalised after a motorbike crash.
According to TMZ the Geostorm actor was 'run off the road' whilst riding his motorcycle in LA, causing him to veer off and have a collision.
The publication reported that someone called 911, where paramedics came and took 47-year-old Gerard to a nearby hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
Thankfully, it appears no real damage was done with the site saying he suffered just "cuts and bruises".
The actor has previously talked about his love of thrill-seeking activities during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
He was also seriously injured in 2011 during a surfing accident.
Despite it being a very close call, US Weekly said he described wanting to "go back" to the surf immediately as he found the sport was "pretty addictive".
Gerard's new movie Geostorm is due out next week, but his injuries aren't going to hold the movie back.
