Andrew Garfield backflips for breast cancer

Andrew Garfield has made a pretty big statement, and not just a physical one.

The 34-year-old put his gymnastics skills to good use when he appeared on the Ellen Degeneres Show and performed a backflip. Watch video above.

The Breathe actor did it in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month so that Ellen could donate $38,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, courtesy of Ultra Beauty.

The episode which aired on Tuesday also discussed Andrew's new role in musicalWerq the World Tour, which sees him dressed as Whitney Houston lip-syncing one of her biggest hitsI'm Every Woman.

The tour is hitting up locations like Norway, Sweden and Ireland.
