'Buffy' star Nicholas Brendon arrested for domestic violence

Buffy star Nicholas Brendon was arrested on Friday at Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs, California after a domestic dispute with his girlfriend and violating a protective order.

According to USA Today the actor caused $1,000 worth of damages to his hotel room and while being arrested confessed to police, secrets from his troubled past.

“During the argument at the bar, he pulled her arm and then violently pulled her by her hair," Palm Springs Police Sgt. William Hutchinson told KESQ-TV.

The Boise Police Department released a statement saying the star "showed signs of intoxication and repeatedly refused officers commands to stay seated while officers tried to speak to witnesses".

And It's not the first time he's landed himself in hot water with the law.

In October 2015, he was arrested after fighting with his girlfriend and reportedly grabbing her by the throat and faced charges of felony third-degree robbery, misdemeanor obstruction of breathing and two counts of criminal mischief according to the outlet.

Later that month the fallen star checked himself into a rehab centre in Florida for the duration of 90 days.

“I love you all so much and I truly do appreciate all of your love and support,” he said in a final message to fans. “We’re going to beat this,' he wrote on his Facebook.
