Harvey Weinstein's former assistant breaks silence
One of Harvey Weinstein's former assistants has come forward as a 'victim' of his abuse, sensationally breaking her nondisclosure agreement.
Zelda Perkins worked for the disgraced movie mogul in the 90s and is one of the eight reported women who reached a settlement, preventing her from talking publicly about what happened.
However, she has decided to reveal her identity after the lift was lifted on the film producer's behaviour and scores of women came forward to claim he assaulted, harassed and even raped them.
Telling the Financial Times his misconduct towards her began the 'first time' she was alone with him, Zilda said she was breaking her agreement because she wanted to expose the legal system.

“He went out of the room and came back in his underwear. He asked me if I would give him a massage. Then he asked if he could massage me," she told the publication.
Recalling how he would often walk around his hotel rooms - where he hosted many of his meetings - naked, it was several years before she sought help for his behaviour.
It was only when a female colleague said she was 'sexually assaulted' by Harvey during an overseas trip, that Zelda went to see a lawyer.
The two women were awarded £250,000 between them in 1998, roughly around $422,100 in Australian dollars today, under the provision they agreed never to tell anyone about what happened.
Interestingly, her NDA included a stipulation that Weinstein had therapy 'for as long as his therapist deems necessary,' for help with his problem.
She also said that negotiating the contract after what she alleges happened was very 'distressing'.
It's not clear what repercussions Zelda faces as a result of breaking her legally binding agreement, but she could be financially penalised for talking out.
Harvey Weinstein is under investigation following the mounting number of women who have stood up and claimed he assaulted them in some way.
The 65-year-old has denied all allegations of non-consensual sex.
