Sophie Monk defends 'awkward' relationship with Stu Laundy
They've been defending their relationship since they went public with their love last week.
Lovebirds Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy have clapped back at their critics again, revealing the reason why they're not affectionate in public.
Talking on KIIS FM's Kyle & Jackie O Show, Sophie said she thought PDA was something younger couples did and insisted they're all over each other behind closed doors.
"We are very affectionate with each other when the cameras aren’t around," Sophie, 37 told the hosts. "He’s got kids as well, we’re not going to be all over each other. I think that’s more of a young thing."
Multi-millionaire Stu, 44, then jumped in and explained he had to hold back in public for the sake of his four daughters.
"I’ve never been that guy," he said. "Sophie could make me that guy, don’t get me wrong, but I have four daughters, I’m sorry…"
Rumours around whether the reality TV couple were actually together have been circling since they appeared on The Project last week where viewers took to social media to brand them "awkward" and "uncomfortable."
The pair remain defiant, insisting their love is real.
