Kevin Spacey seeks 'evaluation and treatment'
Kevin Spacey has confirmed he is seeking "treatment" following the slew of sexual misconduct allegations levelled at him earlier this week.
While the 58-year-old actor has spoken since his ill-received statement on Monday, a representative told Variety Spacey is seeking help after several men came forward claiming the star sexually harassed them.
"Kevin Spacey is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment," his rep told the outlet. "No other information is available at this time."
The news comes after filmmaker Tony Montana spoke out against Spacey, saying the House of Cards actor "groped" him in a restroom at a LA bar back in 2003.
Montana's claims come after Kevin took to his Twitter account earlier this week to apologise to fellow actor and Broadway star Anthony Rapp, who claims Spacey made sexual advances on him when he was a young teenager.
Rapp, who is now 46-years-old, told Buzzfeed News that Spacey invited him to his New York City apartment party back in 1986, when they were both working in Broadway shows.
Spacey would have been 26-years-old at the time and Rapp claims Spacey drunkenly climbed on top of him in bed and “tried to seduce” him.
Following Spacey's statement over the incident, celebrities and Twitter users slammed the Oscar-winner for trying to “deflect” from the allegations, by revealing details about his sexuality.
Netflix have since confirmed they have cancelled House of Cards.
