As the anticipation mounts for the announcement of Karl Stefanovic's new Today show co-host, another famous name has spoken about the potential of stepping into Lisa Wilkinson's shoes.
With years of reporting experience, a large following, and a proven onscreen dynamic with Karl, there's been speculation former Bachelorette Georgia Love could be Lisa's replacement.
Speaking to Be at the 2017 Derby Day in Melbourne on Saturday, 29-year-old Georgia remained coy on whether she'll be joining Karl on the Channel Nine breakfast program.
"Watch this space," her boyfriend Lee Elliott insisted, before Georgia laughed, "Lee still thinks I’ve got Lisa Wilkinson’s job in the bag, but we’ll see".

There is perhaps one thing that could be stopping the media personality from waking up with Today - her newly announced newsreading role with rival network Ten, the same channel Lisa has signed a contract with for a gig on The Project starting next year.
"I’m going to be doing some reporting for Ten News. So i'll still be able to do my hosting and Studio 10 and things like that that I’ve been doing but it’s going to be great to be able to get back into the newsroom and out on the road reporting which is what I’ve always done," Georgia told Be of her new gig.
Last month it was announced that Lisa was leaving Today.
Her exit from the Nine network after 10 years came after speculation surrounding her salary expectations, with reports the 57-year-old demanded the same pay as co-host Karl Stefanovic.
