Harley Breen quits Em Rusciano’s radio show
Harley Breen is leaving the breakfast show he co-hosts after a year on air with Em Rusciano.
During the announcement on on 2Day FM’s The Em Rusciano Show with Harley Breen today the 37-year-old said he will be returning to his comedic roots.
“I’ll be heading back to the fiscally responsible job of being a touring stand-up,” Harley said on-air on Tuesday. “It was by no means an easy decision. But it’s absolutely the right one.”
Radio host Em also wished her co-host all the best live on-air.
“I’m very sad,” the 36-year-old said tearing up. “I’m going to miss you. Thank you for doing this with me.”
They both insisted they are parting ways on good terms and as “great mates”.
Harley is set to be replaced by Have You Been Paying Attention? panellist Ed Kavalee.
“I’m very excited to join The Hit Network and the 2Day FM Sydney Breakfast show with Em,” he said in a statement. “Bring on 2018."
