Jen Hawkins talks Derby Day dress double-up

Former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins stunned today in a gorgeous Alex Perry ensemble at this year's Melbourne Cup.

The model made sure to post a sneak preview of her dress on her Instagram this morning as she was getting ready.

Was that perhaps to avoid another outfit double-up like on Derby Day?

The 33-year-old discussed the fashion run-in she had with Seven's Francesca Cumani on Saturday exclusively with Be at the Melbourne Cup.

"She looked gorgeous," Jen told Be complimenting Francesca.

Despite being in the industry for over a decade, the model revealed the she has never had a fashion double-up before.

"It hasn't happened to me before but it doesn't matter," the model told Be.

Luckily, it seems Jen is the only one wearing her gorgeous black and blush Alex Perry dress.

The model shined with a bejewelled hair accessory and M2Malletier clutch.

CCTV footage shows the stolen Honda 4x4 careering along the road before losing control and ploughing into the parked car on Worton Road.
