Laura Byrne defends Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy
Laura Byrne won Matty J's heart on this year's Bachelor, so she, more than anyone, will know what Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy are going through.
Rumours have been rife that the new couple's relationship is "fake" or that the pair may have already split.
The 31-year-old came to the defence of the Bachelorette couple, when speaking exclusively to Be at the Melbourne Cup.
"There's so much positive and negative that comes out of [the show] because people are so invested in it," the jewellery designer told Be.
"I think they are a great couple," she said defending Sophie and Stu. "People should get behind them."
Laura was rocking a white lace jumpsuit paired with matching hat at this year's Melbourne Cup but was flying solo as boyfriend Matty J was absent from the event.
The Bachelor star revealed to Be that her beau was actually in New Zealand but she didn't seem to hung up on flying solo at the races.
"It's alright," Laura told Be. "We just spent the last three weeks together."
The couple were recently in Bali together on a loved-up holiday.
