Ed Westwick has responded to the claims he sexually assaulted an actress at his home in 2014, saying he has "never committed rape."
The British actor, who is best known for his role as Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl, was accused of forcing himself on actress Kristina Cohen in a lengthy post she shared to Facebook yesterday.
But Ed, 30, has denied the claims in a post on his social media, claiming he does not know the actress.
"I do not know this woman," he said in a statement. "I have never forced myself in any manner, on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape.”

Kristina, 27, from Los Angeles, said she visited the actor’s house with her then producer boyfriend, but instantly felt uncomfortable in Westwick’s company
She said she tried to leave because she was "tired", but was convinced to take a nap in the guest bedroom.
"I was woken up abruptly by Ed on top of me," she wrote in her post. "I told him to stop, but he was strong."
The actresses claims come after Hollywood has been rocked by sex abused allegations against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey.
In her post, she described the fallout of the huge scandal as being "incredibly difficult" for her and motivated her to speak out against.
