Could Ash Pollard take Lisa Wilkinson's Today seat?

My Kitchen Rules star Ash Pollard has revealed to Be she would "absolutely" jump at the chance to replace Lisa Wilkinson on Today.

It was a shock to the nation when Lisa abruptly quit the popular Channel Nine breakfast show after a decade at the desk, and her replacement is yet to be announced.

Could it be Ash?

While chatting at this year's Melbourne Cup, Ash teased she could potentially take the seat next to Karl Stefanovic.

"I can neither confirm or deny what will happen in the future," the 31-year-old personality said.

"Of course," she added when Be asked if it would be something she would consider. "Absolutely."

Lisa, 57, has jumped ship to rival network Channel Ten for a role on The Project commencing at the beginning of 2018.
