Chloe Lattanzi shares story how parents Olivia and Matt met

Chloe Lattanzi has revealed the very famous star who introduced her parents Olivia Newton-John and Matt Lattanzi and it might not be who you expect.

It was the late Gene Kelly.

Chloe shared the throwback photo of her parents on Instagram over the weekend revealing it was the legendary Singing In The Rain singer who played cupid for the then-couple, Olivia and Matt.

"The day my mom and dad met on the set of Xanadu," the 31-year-old captioned the throwback photo. "Omg they did the first selfie!"

"Gene Kelly introduced them," she continued. "If it wasn't for him I may not exist. Thank you Gene."

Gene starred alongside Olivia and Matt in the 1980 flick Xanadu.

After four years of dating, Olivia and Matt married in December 1984 and had Chloe in 1986.

However, it was not to last as the couple divorced in 1996 after 11 years of marriage.

The Grease star is now married to John Easterling, who has been supporting her through her cancer battle.

The couple tied the knot in 2008.

Earlier this year Olivia, 69, announced she would be postponing her North American tour after her breast cancer returned.

In a statement posted to her Facebook account, Olivia told fans she would be back "better than ever" and was "reluctantly" postponing the run of shows when it was found that the cause of her recent "back pain" was diagnosed as breast cancer.

She admitted that breaking the news to her daughter, Chloe, about her second bout of cancer was extremely difficult.

“Well, that was… yeah, that wasn’t easy,” Olivia said in an interview on 60 Minutes in September.
