Ruby Rose hits back at 'reckless' dietitian
Ruby Rose has hit back at dietitian Lisa DeFazio who claimed the actress was "just 44kg" earlier this week.
The Australian actress took to Twitter to hit back at the dietitian, calling her claims "reckless" and saying that "no Hollywood expert would behave the way [she does]".
"Do you actually have any ‘celebrity clients’ or just gossip magazines?" the 31-year-old responded to Lisa's post about her "comments" in a magazine.
"You comment on people who you deem are too big or too small and even go so far as to guess why," she added. "You are reckless and no Hollywood expert would behave the way you do."
The Pitch Perfect 3 star responded to the dietitian in a further post praising her friends and family.
"I have the best team, family, friends, partner and medical professionals (not the ones who want to be tv hosts but actual credible eastern and western doctors)," Ruby said, "and I’m running at an optimum level. I am deficient in nothing and have endless energy."

Telling a magazine MY “manager friends and family should get involved and help me before it’s too late” and that my weight is “44 kilos” ( I’d probably be in hospital of that were true ) is so maddening and irresponsible.

The "media expert" responded indirectly to Ruby's posts on Twitter on Wednesday claiming reporters contact her for her "professional opinion" based on images they send through to her.
"It's all in the spirit of education and awareness," she wrote.
She insisted her writing "is never meant to be judgmental or body shame".

3/3 it is never meant to be judgmental or body shame.
I use my knowledge to educate people that a person's weight is not about vanity, therefore, NOT body shaming, but has serious health risks. I became a Dietitian to help people get & stay healthy. @enews @PerezHilton— Lisa DeFazio, MS, RD (@lisadefazioMSRD) November 15, 2017
Earlier this week, Lisa claimed in NW magazine the actress was "just 44kg" and that Ruby's "family and management team need to encourage her to gain some weight before it's too late".
